Tina Dang

I was born in Vietnam in 1968, and I moved to the United States when I was twelve years old. I’ve lived in multiple states but settled in Colorado in 1980. I didn’t know how to speak English at the time but started to learn when I was enrolled in grade school. I’m the youngest child of a family of nine - five boys and four girls. It has been a long and rigorous journey for me to do what I love, which is being an Aesthetician. While I was in school to become an Aesthetician, I worked seven days a week and went to school five days a week while trying to support my family. It was a challenging time in my life but it has all paid off. My dedication and extensive hours of studying earned me the “Student of the Year Award” in 2011, by the Colorado Association of Career Colleges, which was sponsored by the Denver Post. I now have an Associates of Occupational Studies Degree in Aesthetics. My goals of finishing school have been completed, but now I’m on a new quest to meet my new goals of owning a successful business.
